Meet Phil. I guess a bit of cat food is a fair exchange for a bucket of peas. But apart from peas, Phil (The Hedgehog - the note with the peas said - Will return for bucket-Phil - a bit of a giveaway really) - where was I? Oh yes. Apart from peas, Phil also does a good job eating the remains of all the moles, rabbits, rare birds, voles and mice that the cats are wont to catch and leave in the middle of the path as a squelchy treat for wanderers in darkness.

so adorable...I am trying to encourage hedgehogs down my allotment..they are great for keeping the slugs down...one for the garden to finish off the cats catches would be good too!!!
maybe I should start a hedgehog breeding programme and then I could sell them on to slug suffering gardeners - always on the look out for business ideas!
I haven't seen a single hedgehog in the garden this year. We usually have quite a few come to visit, but sadly none of them ever leave a bucket of peas on the doorstep.
Ah - we have plenty - maybe you're not leaving enough cat food out for them - or perhaps, for a small consideration, I could catch one for you and post it to you? This business could take off!
